I have so many good things to say about Larson Creek Farm and its incredible owners, Mary and Leann, that I don't even know where to begin...

1) The Property: beautiful doesn't even do it justice. The sprawling but meticulously maintained property has its own orchard, acres of forest, and excellent hiking trails. Mary and Leann have extensive onsite gardens and a small building for making maple syrup, along with an adorable front porch area and an expansive backyard. We spent one even out on the porch and saw a flock of wild turkeys, a bald eagle, a deer and her doe, more squirrels than we could count, and heard a woodpecker. It was like being at a petting zoo, no joke. It was so cool!

Mary and Leanne are excellent hosts. Their beautiful B&B is tucked away in a quiet spot just on the edge of town. We enjoyed walking their trails.

Me and my girlfriend recently stayed at Larson's. It is a beautiful place and the two lady's that own and run it are very kind. The food is also great. The building is newer and is just gorgeous. A must stay for anyone heading to port wing!

Larson Creek Farm was amazing from start to finish, and we cannot wait to go back!

2) The House: when we walked in, we were 100% sure that Mary and Leann had hired an interior decorator. It turns out that they'd done all of the amazing work themselves, which just blew us away. The room we were staying in was exceptionally clean (just like the rest of the house) and the bed was super comfy.

4) Mary and Leann: sweet, humble, and quite simply the best. Leann gave us a personal tour of the property on her ATV right when we arrived, and both of the ladies walked us through the Port Wing Museum (which they run) and answered all of our recommendations about the town. They were full of great suggestions for activities and restaurants.

3) Breakfast: honestly, it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Mary cooked all different kinds of eggs and sausage, and she bent over backwards to accommodate my allergies- she even drove several miles to a special bakery to pick up bread that I could eat! She also served homemade granola that was legitimately incredible, along with several types of jams and other preserves that she and Leann had made themselves from vegetables and fruits from their garden.
